The Blue Rose Tour took place in the summer of 2018. The idea was  born when two friends who share a love of David Lynch films decided to explore their home state of North Dakota, off the beaten path.

Originally, North Dakota was to be the setting for the David Lynch drama, Twin Peaks. The eerie plains of North Dakota seemed a worthy setting for a story that had so many unanswered questions. With giant pyramids looming on the prairie, ghost towns, and places called ‘The Stairway to Hell,’ how could it not?

The Blue Rose Tour took my friend and me to places that moved us, places that we quickly moved from, and places we will never understand why anyone would move to. It has been decided that the tour will now become an annual summer event, with more uncharted territory to explore and more photos to be taken.
